Dr. Barry Joukhador

Barry is the Principal dentist in the practice. He took over a small practice from a retired dentist and turned it to the well respected and established practice that it is today. Barry graduated from The University of Sydney in 1996 with a Bachelor of Dentistry. He began working in private practice with two other dentists where he was able to improve on the knowledge attained during his university training. Barry bought this practice in January 2003, when it was a small shop front and relocated in 2007 to our current location where the new facility provides ample parking, a larger waiting room and more up-to-date chairs with on ceiling television to assist in making the patient as comfortable as possible. Barry enjoys his time at work but enjoys spending time with his young family and keeping up to date with all the sports happenings of the day. His obsession with Fantasy football is well known to all around him.

Dr. Alan Ghosn

Alan graduated from The University of Sydney in 1997 and began working in private practice. Over the years, Alan has worked within a team of dentists as well as covering locums for months on end. He enjoys various aspects of dentistry including crown and bridges and general restorative. Alan has been a welcome addition to this practice, beginning as part time in 2005 to his current position of full time. Alan’s other loves include his wife and little boy but also his passion for his Canterbury Bulldogs Rugby League team. This is a sacred subject for Alan as most of the staff and patients have learnt.

Hygienists

Sarah Picciolini

Sarah is a qualified Dental Hygienist, having obtained her Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Newcastle. She works closely with our dentists to provide complete preventive care. Sarah has 10 years’ experience in the dental industry and is happy to share her knowledge and educate patients in ways they can improve their oral health and maintain a healthy smile. Sarah is friendly, approachable and continually striving to keep up to date with the latest techniques to ensure a pleasant experience for her patients. Sarah has worked in multi-disciplinary roles as a hygienist and is qualified in providing in chair teeth whitening.

All our staff work closely with practitioners and their roles are essential in ensuring that our practice provides the best dental care to our patients.
