Implants
Dental implants are small screws made of pure titanium that are surgically implanted in your jaw. In the case of a missing tooth, a dental implant and porcelain crown can fill a gap in your teeth. Unlike dental bridges or other treatments there is no need to grind down healthy neighboring teeth.
Implants are usually placed in two stages. First the implant is placed into the jaw bone. Then, after the bone fuses onto the implant, the tooth is attached to the implant.
