Surgical Implants
Dental Implants have been a very important development in dentistry; whether you have lost just one tooth, a couple or all of them. Being able to create an artificial root system using a titanium metal screw that is surgically placed into the jaw bone under the gum allows a stable support for your dentist to attach an artificial tooth to replace lost or missing teeth. After the healing period and the implant has fused into the jaw bone dental treatment such as a crown, bridge or full set of dentures can be added creating a more natural look and feel.

- Multiple Missing Teeth
- All Missing Teeth
The process of getting a dental implant is usually over three steps: the first is the surgical procedure where the titanium implant is placed into position and is left to heal under the gum usually between 4 to 6 months (this may vary from patient to patient). After the healing process is complete the second step is to uncover the implant and attach a metal abutment into the implant fixture. This abutment creates the base of where the new crown will be placed. The third step is attaching the new crown to the abutment that has been made to match in with the surrounding teeth.
